Bobby Katz is a saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist, and producer/mix engineer from New York. Bobby has studied and/or performed with Wynton Marsalis, John Scofield, Mark Turner and more at various notable venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center, Jazz at the Kitano, and the Blue Note. In 2016, Bobby graduated with honors from New York University where he was the sole recipient of the jazz studies award for exceptional achievement, service, and leadership. In 2018, Katz was awarded third prize in the Vandoren Emerging Artist jazz saxophone competition. In 2020, Katz was appointed artistic director of the Sands Point Preserve where he curated a concert series "Jazz Through The Ages".  As a recording artist, Bobby's projects (Bobby G, Bobby Katz Quartet, Bobbylene, and more) garner over 3 million streams each month. His original composition "Acadia" was featured on Spotify's largest jazz editorial playlist "Coffee Table Jazz" with over 2.5 million followers. 
 
Katz is also one-half of folk-pop duo Bobbylene, a project he started with his wife Marlene McCarthy in 2017. To date, Bobbylene has accumulated over 5 million streams across streaming platforms with a worldwide fanbase. In 2023, their song "Stability" was licensed for in-store play at Starbucks locations worldwide.

In 2022, Bobby founded Acadia Music, a music production company specializing in recording, mixing, mastering, and marketing/PR services. Katz has helped numerous artists find their sound through his expertise as an engineer and producer specializing in folk, singer-songwriter, and jazz music. Click here to listen to Katz's catalogue. Katz is co-founder of Acadia Entertainment, a premiere live music, DJ, and entertainment agency servicing over ten states. Aside from regularly booking and performing at private events, his trio can be heard every Tuesday night at the William Vale Hotel in Wiilliamsburg, Brooklyn as part of their public residency.
